I'm Darah a 20-something journalist, photographer, curator and multidisciplinary artist of Palestinian origin based in the Middle East. I have a passion for documentary projects, archiving as a form of storytelling, and challenging narratives about the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. I hold an MSc in Social Research and a BSc in Economics and Politics from the University of Bath, UK. My photography has been featured in VICE Arabia and Jordan Times among others.
I am also the founder and curator of follow the halo, a digital zine that supports visual arts from the region. follow the halo is a project that aims to create a community for artists through grassroots support. We work with artists on paid commissions, product collaborations, interviews, write ups and critical dialogue (all of which are included in our issues).
